Twos (24-36 months)

Our Twos room is designed to meet the unique developmental and academic needs of 2 year olds. This program offers children a natural environment to learn and progress at their own pace. The Montessori approach enhances children’s independence, self-confidence and prepares them for life. The Twos curriculum aims to provide developmentally appropriate Montessori materials and co-curricular activities in an organized, prepared and well resourced environment. 

A. At this age, your child’s language abilities are in full bloom. Alphabet print outs of letters are shown to the child and other words that begin with the same letter are introduced.

B. The physical capabilities of your child allow for more interaction with their environment, as children as encouraged to move about the classroom, take part in more active work stations, and use a hands-on approach when working with the learning materials.
